Hi,

my name is Matthias and travelling has always been my passion. After I graduated from high school I spent one year in the Philippines and Spain working as a dive instructor. Nowadays I am working as an airline pilot in my “normal life”, that’s probably where my passion for aerial and underwater photography comes from.

Besides, I really love to visit historical sites and explore lost and abandoned places. To understand the historical context of these locations makes you almost dive into history.

I started with underwater photography in the age of 16 with an Olympus C-5060 camera. Nowadays I am using equipment like a Canon EOS-500d with Hugyfot housing, GoPro Hero9, Iphone 12 Mini, DJI Mini 3 Pro, or whichever camera is available at the moment. In my opinion it is the perspective which make photo unique.

With this website I’d like to share some of my memories which I collected during the last years travelling more than 70 countries around the globe. I hope you will enjoy it.
