Born in 1989 in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany, my curiosity for the world started early and never really slowed down. I learned to dive at the age of 12, earned my scuba instructor license at 19, and have been happily chasing bubbles ever since. Diving has always been a family passion, and at 14 I added a camera to the mix, beginning my love affair with underwater photography.
When I’m not exploring the world below the surface, I’m usually looking at it from above. As a pilot, the bird’s-eye view fascinates me just as much, which is why a drone is rarely far from my side.
I love showing our planet from unusual perspectives, underwater and from the air. With nearly 80 countries visited so far, I’m especially drawn to abandoned places. Exploring them feels like a lifelong scavenger hunt, where history quietly brings forgotten spaces back to life.
