Hi,

my name is Matthias and travelling has always been my passion. After I graduated from high school I spent one year in the Philippines and Spain working as a dive instructor. Nowadays I am working as an airline pilot in my “normal life”, that’s probably where my passion for aerial and underwater photography comes from.

Besides, I really love to visit historical sites and explore lost and abandoned places. To understand the historical context of these locations makes you almost dive into history.

I started with underwater photography in the age of 16 with an Olympus C-5060 camera. Nowadays I am using equipment like a Canon EOS-500d with Hugyfot housing, GoPro Hero 9, Iphone 12 Mini, DJI Mini 3 Pro, or whichever camera is available at the moment. In my opinion it is the perspective which makes the picture unique.

With this website I’d like to share some of my memories which I collected during the last years travelling more than 70 countries around the globe. I hope you will enjoy it.
